festival held in a bar. The first Pub Fest
was held at Dan's Silverleaf Bar in Denton
Texas, which Marcus Blake was a part of. He
was one of the featured novelist there. Pub
Fest is being is also coming to Dallas and
Marcus Blake will be one of the features
Authors there. He will do a Q and A and a

A novella called "The Lonely Girl." It will
be released on November 6, 2008.
The story of the lonely girl is about
acceptance; accepting the things that we
cannot control and learning to live beyond
our own circumstances. We each have a
choice- we can be a victim, filled with
excuses or we can rise above the bad things
that happen to us so we can live a happy
life. The story is also about finding the
strength to face the demons of our past for
when we do that’s when we find the voice of
salvation. This is a true human story
and everything in the story is based on real
people and events.

been named one of the most censored books of 2007.
Censor the Book (www.censorthebook.com),
an organization that devotes it resources to the
censorship of certain literary titles, examples include
Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling and the books of Mark
Twain, has an annul list of books that are the most
censored in that given year. Sex Game: A Game of
Curiosity came under controversy last year when
Christian Organizations tries to have the book banned in
bookstores, schools, and libraries. Censor the Book
listed the book as one of its featured books to be
censored. Because of this it was named one of the most
censored books of 2007. The book by Marcus Blake has a
limited inventory in bookstores - its found in
mostly independent bookstores and available through

for Marcus Blake-protesters in Dallas Texas organize protest over
his new book Sex Game: A Game of Curiosity. Protesters from
Christian Organizations such as Parents for Christ and the AFA held
signs and passed out flyers in downtown Dallas Saturday 11-17-07
letting people know how bad the book was because of its pornographic
nature and promoting of homosexuality-they tried to get people in
Dallas to ban and censor the book. “Complete
